Who We Are
A mother of a heart warrior ( a child with a CHD- congenital heart defect) contacted me in October 2013 asking if I could make something for her newborn daughter who had just had open heart surgery. Warrior Pets were created! My life has been deeply touched by so many young children fighting congenital heart defects (CHD). These tiny babies are indeed little warriors, fighting for every heartbeat. Some win the battle against CHD, some are not so fortunate ... these are our little Angels.
Warrior Pets were created as a companion, to provide some comfort in the hospital during difficult procedures, long hospital stays, and a soft cuddly friend to take to long doctors appointments.
Warrior Pets are available not only for CHD warriors to commemorate their fight, but also for children battling other illnesses and syndromes, such as epilepsy, autism, Mito, Cystic Fibrosis, and so many more.
